We are looking for a Software Test Engineer II with 3-5 years of relevant experience who can contribute to both manual and automation testing for enterprise software products. This role is suited for a detail-oriented quality engineer with an automation mindset, strong functional testing skills, and the ability to convert repeatable test scenarios into reliable automated coverage. The person will work closely with QA, engineering, product and global teams to deliver high-quality software to customers.
What You Will Do
- Plan, design and execute manual test cases for functional, integration, regression and end-to-end scenarios.
- Create, maintain and improve automated test scripts using existing tools and frameworks, including C# and Selenium.
- Identify the right balance between manual validation and automation coverage based on risk, repeatability and product impact.
- Analyze requirements, participate in backlog refinement, provide test estimates and define test coverage for user stories.
- Log, track,
troubleshoot and validate defects using existing defect management tools such as Azure DevOps/VSTS.
- Perform database validation and troubleshooting using SQL Server and SQL queries where required.
- Contribute to regression readiness, release validation, test data setup, traceability and test metrics.
- Support performance testing activities using existing tools such as LoadNinja when required.
- Collaborate with developers, QA engineers, product teams and global stakeholders to improve product quality.
- Continuously improve testing practices by identifying opportunities for automation, better coverage and faster feedback.
