Royal Cyber is seeking an experienced, hands-on MPS Specialist who understands the HP-to-Xerox Managed Print Services migration process end-to-end and can execute the technical side directly device configuration, driver/queue cutover, network validation, and troubleshooting for a large-scale migration (~900 printers across multiple regions).
Key Responsibilities
• Physically configure Xerox devices post-install network settings, driver deployment
• Migrate print queues and drivers from HP to Xerox without disrupting user print profiles
• Configure secure print (badge/PIN authentication, certificates) on Xerox devices
• Set up and validate SNMP monitoring (v3) on the Xerox fleet
• Re-map follow-me/pull printing configs (PaperCut, Ringdale, etc.) from HP to Xerox
• Migrate print accounting/cost-center codes
• Reconfigure scan-to-email / scan-to-folder workflows (SMTP relay, folder permissions)
• Standardize firmware baseline across Xerox devices before go-live
• Troubleshoot print job failures, spooler issues, driver conflicts, and connectivity drops
• Validate device functionality and print quality post-cutover
• Execute secure decommissioning/data wipe on legacy HP devices
Required Experience
• 5+ years hands-on technical work with HP and Xerox print environments — direct execution, not oversight
• Strong understanding of the end-to-end MPS migration process — from site assessment through cutover to hypercare
• Personally executed print queue/driver migrations in a large-setting setting (500+ devices preferred)
Technical Skill Requirements
• Print server administration — Windows Print Server setup, print queue migration, driver package management (HP UPD, Xerox Global Print Driver)
• Driver & queue cutover — mapping HP driver/queue configs to Xerox equivalents without disrupting user print profiles
• Fleet/device management consoles — hands-on with HP Web Jetadmin and Xerox CentreWare Web / Xerox Workplace Suite for device discovery, configur
