We are seeking a VLSI CAD Developer to develop Python-based automation solutions for Standard Cell Libraries and other semiconductor IP development. The ideal candidate should have a strong foundation in VLSI concepts along with good programming skills in Python and a passion for developing high-quality CAD tools and automation frameworks.
Eligibility
* B.Tech in Electronics/ECE/EEE or related discipline with 2+ years of relevant experience, or
* M.Tech in VLSI/Microelectronics/Electronics with 02 years of relevant experience.
Key Responsibilities
* Develop and maintain Python-based automation tools for Standard Cell and IP development.
* Automate design, validation, characterization, and QA workflows for semiconductor libraries and IPs.
* Build utilities for data extraction, report generation, consistency checks, and release automation.
* Integrate automation with industry-standard EDA tools and design flows.
* Improve productivity by identifying and automating repetitive engineering tasks.
* Debug and enhance existing CAD tools and automation frameworks.
* Collaborate with library, layout, circuit design, characterization, and verification teams.
* Maintain clean, modular, and well-documented code.
Mandatory Technical Skills
* Strong understanding of VLSI fundamentals (mandatory).
* Positive knowledge of CMOS technology, standard cells, digital design, and semiconductor design flows.
* Good programming skills in Python --Data Structures and Algorithms.
* Familiarity with Linux/Unix environment.
* Knowledge of scripting concepts and software development best practices.
* Understanding of semiconductor file formats such as LEF, GDSII, Liberty, SPICE, Verilog, or CDL is desirable.
* Exposure to physical verification concepts (DRC/LVS) is an added advantage.
*Basic understanding of AI/ML concepts is preferred and will be considered an advantage.
