Hindi/Tamil/Telugu/Bengali/Marathi/Kannada Freelance Audio Transcription & Annotation Specialists
We are recruiting experienced language professionals for a multilingual AI data project. This is a remote, freelance, project-based opportunity.

Availability: min 10 hours a week

Project duration: Long term

Compensation: $8 per hour

The work may include:
Transcribing audio recordings from scratch
Reviewing and correcting machine-generated transcripts
Segmenting audio and identifying speakers
Adding timestamps and labeling pauses, fillers, overlapping speech, background noise, and other audio events
Following detailed project guidelines and meeting quality targets

We’re looking for:
C1–C2 proficiency and idiomatic fluency in Hindi/Tamil/Telugu/Bengali/Marathi/Kannada,



with excellent comprehension of contemporary spoken language and a strong command of spelling, grammar, punctuation, regional varieties, and colloquial expressions
Valuable working proficiency in English, sufficient to understand project guidelines, training materials, and written feedback
Previous experience in transcription, subtitling, speech annotation, linguistic data annotation, or similar language work
Strong attention to detail and ability to apply detailed guidelines consistently
Reliable computer, internet connection, and headphones
