General Summary

Qualcomm is seeking a motivated System Integration Test Engineer, Staff/Senior Lead/Senior Engineer to drive end-to-end validation of 5G-Advanced and next-generation 6G technologies and solutions. The role involves system integration, performance validation, automation development, lab testing, and field trials in multi-vendor environments.

Minimum Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Information Systems, Computer Science, or related field and 4+ years of Systems Test Engineering or related work experience.

OR

Master's degree in Engineering, Information Systems, Computer Science, or related field and 3+ years of Systems Test Engineering or related work experience.

OR

PhD in Engineering, Information Systems, Computer Science, or related field and 2+ years of Systems Test Engineering or related work experience.

Key Responsibilities

Perform end-to-end System, Performance, Scalability, Stability,



and Interoperability Testing of 5G-Advanced and next-generation 6G technologies and solutions.
Bring up and manage complex E2E testbeds involving UE, RAN, Core, SMO, and RIC components.
Develop and maintain automation frameworks for test execution and reporting.
Create and execute test plans with traceability to product requirements and features.
Analyze logs, protocol traces, and KPIs to perform debugging and root cause analysis.
Collaborate with Development, Product Management, and Program Management teams.
Participate in lab validations, interoperability events, and field trials.
Open to domestic and international travel for testing, interoperability, and deployment activities.

Required Skills

3–12 years of experience in 5G system integration and testing.
Solid understanding of 3GPP specifications, 5G procedures, and call flows.
Strong understanding of Open RAN architecture and ecosystem, including RU, CU/DU split archite
