Job Description
The Officer in the General Ledger & Financial Accounting department plays a pivotal role in ensuring the accuracy and integrity of financial records. This position requires a deep understanding of accounting principles and standards, as well as the ability to manage complex financial transactions. The Officer will oversee the daily operations of the accounting department,



ensuring that all financial processes are executed efficiently and accurately. This role involves conducting month-end and year-end processes, including managing accounts payable and receivable, cash receipts, and general ledger management. The Officer will also be responsible for overseeing payroll, utilities, treasury, budgeting, and cash forecasting activities to ensure financial stability and compliance. Additionally, the role requires performing revenue and expenditure variance analysis, capital assets reconciliations, and trust account statement reconciliations. The Officer will monitor and analyze accounting data to produce comprehensive financial reports or statements, establishing and enforcing proper accounting methods, policies, and principles to maintain financial integrity.
