Role Overview
The Chief Financial Officer (CFO) will be responsible for overseeing the financial strategy, planning, risk management, compliance, and overall financial health of the organization. The CFO will work closely with senior leadership to drive business growth, optimize financial performance, and support strategic decision-making.
Key Responsibilities
Financial Strategy & Planning
Develop and implement the company's financial strategy aligned with business objectives.
Lead annual budgeting, forecasting, and long-term financial planning.
Provide strategic recommendations to the CEO and Board on financial performance and growth opportunities.
Analyze market trends and identify financial risks and opportunities.
Financial Management
Oversee accounting operations, financial reporting, and cash flow management.
Ensure timely preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements.
Monitor financial performance and establish corrective measures where required.
Manage working capital, investments,
and banking relationships.
Compliance & Risk Management
Ensure compliance with statutory laws, tax regulations, and financial reporting standards.
Develop internal financial controls and risk management frameworks.
Coordinate audits and liaise with external auditors, tax consultants, and regulatory authorities.
Maintain corporate governance standards and financial transparency.
Business & Operational Support
Partner with department heads to improve operational efficiency and profitability.
Evaluate investment opportunities, mergers, acquisitions, and expansion plans.
Drive automation and process improvements within the finance function.
Leadership & Team Management
Lead, mentor, and develop the finance and accounts team.
Build a high-performance finance culture focused on accountability and continuous improvement.
