This Position reports to:

Production Engineering Manager

Your role and responsibilities

In this role, you will have the opportunity to optimize the Production organization’s assembly methods, processes, and equipment to minimize labor hours in accordance with business strategies related to quality, efficiency, costs, and safety. Each day, you will ensure appropriate production methods, cycle time, equipment performance, and materials/components in support of production targets. You will also showcase your expertise by defining the working phase sequence of a current production process to achieve the targeted product cost and equipment investment budget.

This role is contributing to the Motion business for High Power division based in Vadodara, India:

You will be mainly accountable for:




- Lead end-to-end Capex and Opex procurement lifecycle for manufacturing infrastructure, tooling, MRO, and engineering services, including requirement definition, technical specification preparation, supplier evaluation, techno-commercial discussions, procurement coordination, installation, commissioning, and project closure. Plan and execute manufacturing CapEx projects aligned with business requirements, capacity expansion, productivity improvement, and technology upgrades.
- Develop, establish, and continuously improve manufacturing processes, tooling, fixtures, and testing infrastructure to support production efficiency, quality standards, and operational readiness. Manage asset capitalization activities in coordination with Finance, ensuring compliance with ABB financial policies, documentation requirements, and audit standards.
