About the Role

SocioTech Services is seeking a motivated and technically skilled
Forward Deployed Engineer
to work closely with our U.S.-based client in the trucking and transportation industry.

This role combines software engineering, technical consulting, system implementation, customer collaboration, and operational problem-solving. You will work directly with business and technical teams to understand operational challenges, develop practical solutions, integrate systems, automate workflows, troubleshoot issues, and deploy technology within real-world business environments.

The ideal candidate enjoys solving business problems through technology and is comfortable working across software engineering, operations, product, and customer-facing teams.

Responsibilities
- Work with clients and internal teams to understand business requirements, technical needs, and operational challenges.
- Design, develop, configure, and deploy software solutions based on business requirements.
- Customize internal platforms, dashboards, workflows, and automation systems.




- Build and maintain integrations between databases, APIs, CRM platforms, third-party tools, and internal applications.
- Analyze existing business processes and identify opportunities for automation and improvement.
- Write scripts, database queries, APIs, and automated workflows.
- Troubleshoot software, database, integration, network, and system-related issues.
- Support the implementation and deployment of recent features and technical solutions.
- Convert client feedback and operational requirements into product improvements.
- Test solutions before deployment and monitor system performance after implementation.
- Investigate production issues and provide timely technical support.
- Prepare technical documentation, implementation guides, and process instructions.
