Our client is looking for an experienced Assistant Manager – Legal to manage litigation, contracts, regulatory compliance, legal risks, and corporate legal matters across the company and its group entities. The ideal candidate should have strong legal drafting skills, practical litigation exposure, and the ability to coordinate effectively with external counsel, regulatory authorities, and internal stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities:
- Manage litigation and legal proceedings for the company and its group entities.
- Coordinate with advocates, law firms, and external counsel regarding hearings, filings, and case developments.
- Track court appearances, hearing dates, case records, and legal updates on an ongoing basis.
- Identify high-value and critical legal matters, including criminal cases, and ensure timely escalation.
- Review legal applications, submissions, petitions, notices, and other documents before filing.




- Monitor changes in laws, regulations, and judicial decisions that may impact business operations.
- Provide legal guidance to management on statutory obligations and regulatory developments.
- Liaise with regulatory authorities, government departments, and other external stakeholders.
- Support the development of legal risk management strategies and compliance controls.
- Review internal compliance frameworks, identify gaps, and recommend corrective measures.
- Develop and strengthen codes of conduct, ethical policies, and governance practices.
- Support the implementation of whistleblower mechanisms and ensure appropriate handling of reported concerns.
