Job Overview : The Assistant Chemist – QC Lab is responsible for sampling, testing,



and analyzing materials to ensure product quality meets specified standards. The role includes operating laboratory equipment, maintaining test records, supporting process control activities, and adhering to quality and safety procedures.

Key Responsibilities Areas :

Perform routine sampling, sample preparation, testing, and analysis of coke, raw materials, and finished products as per standard operating procedures.
Support process control activities by coordinating with Production and providing timely analytical results.
Monitor product quality parameters and report any deviations to senior laboratory personnel for corrective action.
Operate laboratory equipment such as XRF, ICP, Proximate Analysers, Crushers, Furnaces, Ovens, Vibrating and Screening Equipment.
Assist in calibration, maintenance, and verification of laboratory instruments and equipment.
Maintain laboratory records, test reports, calibration logs, and quality documents accurately.
