Job Summary
We are looking for a motivated Junior Purchase Executive to support the procurement team in sourcing materials, coordinating with vendors, and ensuring the timely availability of materials required for production.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist in sourcing materials and obtaining quotations from vendors.
- Prepare and process Purchase Orders (POs).
- Follow up with suppliers for timely delivery of materials.
- Coordinate with production, stores, and accounts departments.
- Maintain purchase records, vendor details, and documentation.
- Compare quotations and prepare price comparison statements.
- Monitor material requirements and support inventory management.
- Ensure quality and quantity of received materials as per purchase orders.
- Resolve delivery-related issues with suppliers.
- Support the senior purchase team in daily procurement activities.
Required Skills
- Basic knowledge of purchasing and procurement processes.
- Good communication and negotiation skills.
- Knowledge of MS Excel, Word, and Outlook.
- Ability to maintain records and documentation accurately.
- Good organizational and time management skills.
- Willingness to learn and work in a manufacturing setting.
Qualification
- Any Bachelor's Degree (B.Com, BBA, B.Sc, B.E., or equivalent).
- Freshers or candidates with up to 1 year of experience are welcome to apply.
Preferred Skills
- Basic knowledge of ERP software is an added advantage.
- Experience in manufacturing, SPM, or automation industry is preferred.
- Ability to coordinate effectively with vendors and internal departments.
