Purpose of the role :
- Execution of Process Pump assembly to achieve MOP /AOP with optimum utilization of resource as per customer requirement.
- Responsible for planning, organizing, staffing, leading, controlling, Co-ordination and overseeing the operations of PPD assembly.

Key Responsibilities :
- Execution of monthly operating plan & Annual operating plan of Process Pump assembly.
- Execution of Mandatory Spares for Process Pump.
- Ensure pump assembly as per customer QAP requirement. Ensure Internal & External customer satisfaction.
- Co-ordination with supporting departments-Machine Shop, Stores, Pump performance testing lab, PED, QA etc. to achieve MOP & AOP
- To attend & execute third party inspection activities (Hydro test, Impeller and rotor balancing, strip test, DP Test.)
- Reduce cost of product by Maintaining minimum levels of rejections/ reworks, wastes, / inventories / stock discrepancies / customer complaints.
- First Time Right (FTR) ratio improvement.




- Resolve technical problems in assembly of pump
- Ensure On time delivery of product.
- SAP transactions.
- Scrap disposal.
- Maintain shop floor discipline.
- Safety-Carrying BBS I & II. (BBS-Activity)
- Safety-Identify and implement corrective action for Safety opportunities
- MIS Report.
- Developing multi-Skilling of fitter.

Implementing 5S, Kaizen, TPM and cost saving projects.

Skills:
- Product knowledge of Split Case pump, assembly processes, inspection standards, and quality assurance.
- Hands-on expertise in SAP PP module and MS Excel.
- Problem solving and root cause analysis.
- Planning, execution, and people management skills.
- Knowledge of IMS, 5S, Kaizen, O-Soji, and safety systems (BBS, incident tracking, near miss reporting).
