Role Objective
The Assistant Manager – Land Development & Project Liaasoning will be responsible for supporting land acquisition, statutory approvals, and liaisoning activities for ground-mounted solar projects across Maharashtra. The role involves coordinating with government authorities, landowners, consultants, and internal teams to ensure timely land acquisition, regulatory compliance, and smooth project execution from planning through commissioning.
Key ResponsibilitiesLand Identification & Acquisition
- Identify suitable land parcels for ground-mounted solar projects across Maharashtra.
- Coordinate with landowners, brokers, and local representatives for land acquisition and lease agreements.
- Conduct land due diligence, including title verification, encumbrance checks, and ownership validation.
- Support land conversion, land-use approvals, and acquisition documentation.
- Ensure compliance with local land regulations and environmental requirements.
Project Liaisoning & Regulatory Approvals
- Coordinate with state and local government authorities for permits, approvals, registrations, and statutory clearances.
- Liaise with departments such as MSEDCL, MEDA, Revenue Department, Forest Department, and other regulatory authorities.
- Obtain land-use conversion approvals, Non-Agricultural (NA) permissions, mutation entries, and 7/12 extracts.
- Monitor approval timelines and ensure timely completion of all statutory requirements.
Stakeholder Management
- Build and maintain solid relationships with government officials, village panchayats, landowners, consultants, and local stakeholders.
- Resolve land-related and regulatory issues to avoid project delays.
- Represent the company during stakeholder meetings, negotiations, and site discussions.
Documentation & Compliance
- Maintain complete records of land documents, agreements, approvals,
