Role & responsibilities

A. Laboratory Analysis and Testing

Conduct chemical and physical analyses on raw materials, intermediate products, and finished animal feed products to ensure compliance with quality standards.

Perform tests to determine nutritional and mineral content, moisture levels, protein, fat, fiber, and other critical parameters as per industry standards.

B. Quality Assurance and Compliance

Ensure that laboratory procedures comply with industry standards (e.g., ISO, GMP, HACCP) and company protocols.

Assist in developing and updating SOPs, quality assurance guidelines, and documentation for the laboratory.

C. Data Documentation and Reporting

Maintain detailed records of all tests conducted, data collected, and results obtained, ensuring accuracy and completeness.

Prepare test reports, certificates of analysis, and support root cause analysis for out-of-specification results.

Calibration and Maintenance

Perform routine calibration, maintenance, and troubleshooting of lab equipment to ensure accurate and reliable results.

Document calibration records and ensure compliance with regulatory and quality standards.

E. Sampling and Inspection

Collect and prepare samples from various production stages for quality analysis.

Inspect incoming raw materials to verify that they meet company quality standards before acceptance.

F. QSE Awareness : Understanding of quality assurance principles and regulatory requirements in animal feed production, including ISO, HACCP, and GMP.

Skills: Proficiency in laboratory testing methods and equipment, such as spectrophotometers, chromatographs, and other relevant instruments.
