Role Description
The Online Machine Learning Coding Mentor is a part-time, remote role focused on teaching foundational and intermediate machine learning concepts to school-age learners in live online sessions. Day-to-day tasks include planning and delivering interactive lessons, guiding students through coding exercises and projects, and explaining complex concepts in a simple, age-appropriate way. The mentor will provide individualized feedback, track student progress toward defined learning goals,



and adjust teaching strategies based on learners’ needs. The role also involves creating or refining instructional materials, collaborating with the Codeyoung team to improve curriculum, and maintaining a positive, inclusive classroom environment.

Qualifications
- Candidates should possess strong Communication and Training skills to explain technical topics clearly and support diverse learners.
- Candidates should possess solid Analytical Skills and Research abilities to solve coding problems and stay updated on machine learning concepts and tools.
- Candidates should possess effective Writing skills for developing lesson content, documentation, and student feedback.
- Practical experience with programming (e.g., Python) and introductory machine learning libraries or tools suitable for teaching young learners.
