About the Role

We are looking for an experienced
Business Architect
to lead the design of capability architecture and operating models for strategic transformation initiatives within the Banking and Financial Services (BFSI) domain.

In this role, you will work closely with Engineering, Product, Business Units, Enterprise Architecture, and Transformation teams to identify, assess, and structure engineering capabilities into scalable, reusable business capabilities. You will define governance frameworks, operating models, and ownership structures that enable successful commercialization and enterprise adoption.

Key Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain a capability map of engineering assets across business units and platforms.
- Define the framework and criteria for identifying commercially viable capabilities.
- Lead structured capability and asset discovery workshops with engineering, platform, and business stakeholders.
- Assess and document ownership, dependencies,



technology landscape, data flows, controls, and operational constraints.
- Adapt and apply capability maturity assessment models to evaluate engineering assets.
- Design current-state and target-state operating models to support capability commercialization and enterprise adoption.
- Define governance structures, decision rights, stakeholder roles, touchpoints, and hand-off processes.
- Recommend ownership models by defining responsibilities across Engineering, CPMO, Business Units, and Product teams.
- Collaborate with senior stakeholders to drive strategic transformation initiatives and business architecture best practices.

Required Skills & Experience
- 8–15 years of experience in Business Architecture, Enterprise Architecture, Business Transformation, or Strategy Consulting.
- Robust experience in Banking, Financial Services, or FinTech.
- Expertise in Business Capability Mapping and Operating Model Design.
