Role Description
This is a full time, on-site role for a Quality Line Inspector located in Veraval(Shapar). The Quality Line Inspector will monitor and inspect parts directly on the shop floor to ensure they meet engineering drawings, customer specifications, and our internal standards.
Responsibilities include
- conducting first-piece, in-process, and final inspections, using precision measuring instruments, identifying and isolating non-conforming materials, and maintaining accurate inspection records.
- This role requires active collaboration with production teams to prevent defects and ensure consistent quality on the shop floor.
Qualifications
- Practical experience in quality control, line inspection, or in-process inspection within a manufacturing environment.
- Hands-on experience using precision measuring instruments (e.g., Digital Vernier calipers, Digital micrometers, Digital height gauges, dial indicators, and thread gauges).
- Ability to read and interpret engineering drawing, and quality plans.
- Basic understanding of manufacturing processes (forging and machining processes are highly preferred).
- Ability to identify defects, document non-conformances, and communicate issues promptly to shop floor supervisors.
- Basic computer literacy for logging inspection data and maintaining records.
- ITI, Diploma in Mechanical Engineering, or equivalent practical experience in a technical role.
Requirements
- Experience working under ISO / IATF quality management system standards is highly preferred.
