Role & responsibilities

* Edit short-form videos for Instagram Reels, YouTube Shorts, LinkedIn and other social media platforms.

* Edit podcasts, interviews, promotional videos and long-form YouTube content.

* Convert raw footage into transparent, engaging and visually polished videos.

* Add captions, transitions, motion graphics, sound effects, music and basic animations.

* Perform basic colour correction, audio balancing and video enhancement.

* Resize and adapt videos for different platforms and aspect ratios, including 9:16, 1:1 and 16:9.

* Create attention-grabbing hooks and maintain strong pacing throughout each video.

* Work with the content, design and marketing teams to understand creative requirements.

* Follow brand guidelines while maintaining consistency across video assets.

* Organise footage, project files, graphics, music and final exports.

* Incorporate feedback and complete revisions within the required timelines.

* Stay updated on video-editing styles, social media trends and emerging creative tools.

Preferred candidate profile





Required Skills

* Basic working knowledge of Adobe Premiere Pro, DaVinci Resolve, Final Cut Pro or a similar video-editing platform.

* Understanding of video formats, frame rates, resolutions and aspect ratios.

* Ability to edit short-form and long-form video content.

* Basic knowledge of audio editing, colour correction and caption placement.

* Good visual judgement, storytelling ability and attention to detail.

* Ability to manage multiple assignments and meet deadlines.

* Willingness to learn and accept constructive feedback.

* A portfolio or samples of previous video-editing work are required.

Good to Have

* Basic knowledge of Adobe After Effects or motion graphics.

* Experience editing Instagram Reels, YouTube Shorts or podcast clips.

* Knowledge of Canva, Photoshop, CapCut or AI-assisted video tools.

* Understanding of social media trends, hooks and audience retention.
