Role Description
The Owner/Writer is a full-time, remote role responsible for overseeing content planning while producing clear, engaging written materials for websites, blogs, newsletters, and social channels. This role includes managing the editorial calendar, generating topic ideas, and ensuring that content aligns with brand objectives and target audiences. Day-to-day tasks involve researching relevant subjects, drafting and revising articles, optimizing content for readability and audience engagement, and maintaining a consistent tone and style. The role may also include coordinating with freelancers or partners, reviewing feedback and analytics to improve content performance, and making strategic decisions about content priorities and formats. The Owner/Writer is expected to work independently, meet deadlines, and continuously refine processes to support sustainable growth.

Qualifications
- Strong writing, editing, and proofreading abilities with demonstrated experience creating transparent, engaging content.
- Experience in content planning or editorial management,



including organizing topics, schedules, and workflows.
- Ability to conduct thorough research and translate complex information into accessible, accurate content.
- Familiarity with digital publishing tools, content management systems, and basic principles of online audience engagement.
- Excellent time management and organizational skills, with the ability to work independently in a remote environment.
- Comfort with data-driven decision-making, including reviewing performance metrics to refine content strategy.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to collaborate virtually with partners, clients, or contributors.
- Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field (such as Communications, Journalism, English, Marketing) or equivalent practical experience.
- Experience as a business owner, freelancer, or self-directed creator is highly beneficial.
