- Conduct physiotherapy assessments and develop individualized treatment plans.
- Provide therapy sessions to improve mobility, balance, strength, posture, and coordination.
- Set measurable therapy goals and monitor progress regularly.
- Educate parents and caregivers on home exercise programs and positioning techniques.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure holistic child development.
- Maintain accurate therapy records, progress notes, and reports.
- Recommend assistive devices, orthotics, and adaptive equipment when required.
- Participate in Individualized Education Plan (IEP) meetings and case discussions.
- Conduct awareness programs, parent training, and community outreach activities.
- Ensure ethical, secure, and evidence-based physiotherapy practices.
Preferred candidate profile
- Bachelor of Physiotherapy (BPT); Master of Physiotherapy (MPT) in Pediatrics or Neurology is preferred.
- Valid registration with the relevant physiotherapy council.
- Experience working with children with special needs is desirable.
