To realise Shell’s Powering Progress strategy, the Group will need a easy and agile corporate holding and financing structure and an effective treasury function to manage and deploy capital where required for new opportunities, facilitating shareholder returns through our dividend and share buyback commitments, management of group debt and management of group cash, whilst successfully navigating a continuously evolving and competitive external landscape.

- Further development of a set of core finance skills, including accounting and reporting, Governance, risk & assurance and stakeholder management which are critical to building a career in finance;
- Structuring and financing expertise in a large multinational organisation with a specific focus on treasury transactions;
Corporate Controller is a key role in the Corporate Holding and Treasury (CHT) team providing financial expertise and core capabilities in the financial management of Shell's critical Corporate companies. The role has a wide number of interfaces into the Holding and Treasury organisation including Tax, Legal, Treasury and Finance Operations. The role provides experience in a set of core finance competences, including accounting and reporting, GRA and stakeholder management, which are critical to building a finance career.
As Corporate Controller, you will be sitting within the CHT Controllers team in Chennai, as part of our Centre of Expertise (CoE) for technical accounting, risk management and Group structuring. With your focus on financial management, you can expect to be working closely with Treasury, Group Reporting, Statutory Auditors, Tax and Legal.
