We are seeking a dedicated Biology Teacher to lead our Middle School science classes. You will deliver the Cambridge Lower Secondary Science curriculum, helping students build a strong foundational understanding of life sciences and scientific inquiry.
Key Responsibilities:
- Teach daily Biology classes following the Cambridge Lower Secondary Science curriculum.
- Lead simple, safe laboratory experiments and hands-on activities to explain biological concepts.
- Grade student assignments and quizzes to prepare them for Cambridge Checkpoint style evaluations.
- Manage the classroom effectively to keep students focused and engaged.
- Keep parents and the school management updated on student academic progress.
Qualifications & Requirements:
- Education: Master’s degree in Biology, Life Sciences,
or Education with a specialization in Science.
- Experience: 2+ years of teaching experience at the middle school level preferred.
- Skills: Strong understanding of Cambridge Lower Secondary (or equivalent international) syllabus, excellent classroom management, and the ability to explain complex natural processes in simple terms.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: ₹35,000.00 - ₹60,000.00 per month
Ability to commute/relocate:
- T Nagar, Chennai, Tamil Nadu: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (Required)
