JOB PURPOSE :

To lead and support high-quality clinical and biomedical research activities by designing,

conducting, analysing, publishing, and disseminating research findings. The role is responsible for

conducting and managing the complete research lifecycle, ensuring compliance with ethical and

regulatory requirements, securing research funding, fostering interdisciplinary collaborations, and

contributing to institutional research excellence.

ROLES AND RESPONSIBILITY
- Should have research writing experience.
- Should have worked in a similar role in medical research institutions.
- Should be familiar with the latest research methodologies, including observational studies, clinical studies, systematic reviews, and meta-analyses in a healthcare research setting.
- Lead and contribute to the complete research lifecycle, including research question formulation, hypothesis development, study design, data collection (including clinical sample collection), data management, data analysis, interpretation, manuscript preparation,



managing the revision process based on reviewer feedback, and publishing in high-impact peer-reviewed journals.
- Ensure adherence to ethical standards, reporting guidelines (e.g., PRISMA, CONSORT, STROBE),and regulatory requirements throughout the research process.
- Develop high-quality research proposals, protocols, and grant applications aligned with current scientific and clinical priorities in a healthcare research setting.
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams, including clinicians, biostatisticians, and computational researchers, to address complex biomedical questions.
- Need to have excellent oral and written communication skills.
- Robust organizational, analytical, and reasoning skills.
- Ability to work well and flexibly, i.e., autonomously, in small teams, and with a wide range of stakeholders.
