Role Description
The Portuguese Language Specialist – Procurement Operations is a full-time, on-site role based in New Delhi. The specialist will support procurement activities by handling Portuguese-language documentation, translating contracts and vendor communications, and ensuring language accuracy in purchase orders and reports. Day-to-day responsibilities include reviewing and interpreting supplier terms, drafting clear written correspondence in Portuguese and English, and facilitating effective communication between local teams and Portuguese-speaking stakeholders. The role also involves collaborating with procurement and operations teams to maintain data quality, support vendor onboarding, and help resolve language-related issues that impact purchasing processes.

Qualifications
- Strong proficiency in Portuguese and English, with demonstrated skills in Translation and Interpreting for business and procurement contexts.




- Excellent Communication and Language Services skills, including the ability to convey complex information clearly to diverse stakeholders.
- Solid Writing skills for drafting emails, reports, and contractual documentation in both Portuguese and English.
- Experience or strong interest in procurement, supply chain, or operations within multinational or cross-cultural environments.
- Ability to work on-site in Current Delhi, collaborate in a team setting, and manage multiple tasks with attention to detail and accuracy.
- Bachelor’s degree in Languages, Translation, Business, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
- Proficiency with common office productivity tools and basic familiarity with procurement or ERP systems is an advantage.
