Job Title: Data Analyst

Job Summary: We are looking to hire candidates to support a data analytics initiative for Internal Audit. The primary responsibility of this role is to validate and review exceptions generated by a data analytics tool, ensuring accuracy, completeness and relevance of results. This is an excellent opportunity for graduates who want hands-on exposure to data analysis, controls and business process validation.

Key Responsibilities:
- Review and validate exceptions flagged by data analytics tools against defined business rules and criteria
- Perform data checks to confirm accuracy, completeness and consistency of source data
- Analyze transactional data to identify false positives, genuine issues and data quality gaps
- Document validation outcomes clearly, including root cause observations and supporting evidence
- Maintain exception logs, validation trackers and working papers as per standards
- Escalate unusual trends, high-risk exceptions or data anomalies to senior team members




- Collaborate with process owners to resolve validation queries
- Support periodic reporting and dashboards summarizing validation results

Required Qualifications:
- Candidate with 1 year experience in Data Analysis in Finance domain
- Must have work experience in SAP
- Looking for immediate joinee

Required Skills & Competencies:
- Solid attention to detail and accuracy
- Basic understanding of data concepts (transactions, fields, filters, exceptions)
- Good logical and analytical thinking
- Ability to follow structured validation steps and documentation standards

Basic proficiency in:
- MS Excel (filters, pivot tables, VLOOKUP/XLOOKU, etc.)
- Good written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to work with large datasets and meet deadlines

Preferred / Nice-to-Have Skills: Exposure to:
- Data analytics tools (ACL, Power BI, Tableau, SQL, Python)
- Audit, controls testing or process analysis
- Understanding of busin
