Job Purpose:
The Central or Site Setting Executive is responsible for supporting the Environment Lead in ensuring environmental compliance and stewardship across mining operations. This role involves assisting with the implementation of environmental management systems, coordinating with regulatory bodies, conducting monitoring activities, and preparing reports to maintain adherence to environmental standards and regulations.
Responsibilities
Central or Site Environment Executive - Mining
Environmental Compliance Support
Assist in the development and maintenance of the Workplace Management System to align with regulatory requirements.
Coordinate with regulatory bodies to facilitate the acquisition of necessary environmental permits and clearances.
Support the process of obtaining Consents to Establish (CTO) and ensure compliance with environmental regulations during project execution.
Communication And Coordination
Work closely with internal departments and external stakeholders to gather necessary data for environmental reporting.
Assist in the preparation and submission of compliance reports to regulatory agencies, ensuring timely and accurate documentation.
Coordinate and facilitate site inspections by regulatory authorities, ensuring all findings and observations are addressed.
