B Tech Mechanical Engineering

Skills & Experience

•

2-3 years of experience in connector product design and development.

•

Strong understanding of plastic part design, terminal design, and insert molding concepts

•

Strong knowledge on manufacturing processes including injection molding, stamping, plating and assembly.

•

Valuable knowledge in material selection.

•

Experience in validation testing and knowledge of testing standards such as USCAR-2, USCAR-12, USCAR-21, LV214, IEC etc.

•

Understanding thermal, vibration and sealing requirements in automotive environments.

•

Ability to prioritize and manage multiple projects simultaneously with minimum supervision.





•

High technical aptitude and willingness to continually learn and adapt to new technologies.

•

Knowledge of APQP, PPAP, DFMEA

•

CAD (Creo, Solidworks etc..)

•

PLM (Windchill)

•

Knowledge on FEA (Finite Element Analysis) and Mold Flow Analysis

•

GD&T; (Geometric Dimensioning & Tolerance)

•

Rapid Prototyping & Reverse Engineering

•

MS Office

•

Good communication and interpersonal skills to work in cross-functional and customer-facing environments
