Role & responsibilities
- Validate end-to-end insurance journeys along with financial transactions.
- Test payment gateway integrations and the payment lifecycle.
- Verify premium collections, refunds, cancellations, endorsements, and reversals.
- Validate accounting entries generated during various insurance transactions.
- Test reconciliation processes between payment systems, accounting systems, and policy administration systems.
- Verify ledger postings, journal entries, GL mappings, settlements, and financial reports.
- Perform API, database, integration, regression, and UAT support.
Prepare detailed test cases covering functional and financial scenarios.
- Work closely with Product, Finance, Engineering, and Business teams.
- Report, track,



and verify defects until closure.
- Participate in release planning and production validation.

Requirements
- 3-5 years of Manual Testing experience.
- Robust Insurance domain experience.
- Strong understanding of Payments and Accounting workflows.
- Experience testing: Payment Gateways, UPI, Net Banking, Credit/Debit Cards,Refunds, Payment Reconciliation,Settlement Processes.
- Knowledge of accounting concepts:General Ledger (GL),Journal Entries,Ledger Posting,Trial Balance,Reconciliation,Financial Reports
Strong SQL knowledge.
- REST API testing using Postman or Swagger.
- Experience working in Agile environments.
- Excellent analytical and communication skills.
