Job Title: Technical Support Engineer

We are seeking a skilled and proactive Technical Support Engineer. The ideal candidate should have strong hands-on experience in Python debugging, navigating Linux environments, and querying SQL databases to resolve complex technical issues in real time.

Key Responsibilities
- Application Support: Provide technical support for core applications written in Python; debug scripts, analyze code logic, and identify root causes of application failures.
- System Administration & Troubleshooting: Navigate and manage Linux/Unix servers, analyze system logs, monitor server health (CPU, memory, disk space), and execute shell scripts.
- Database Management: Write and optimize SQL queries to extract data, troubleshoot database performance bottlenecks, and perform data validation or minor corrections.
- Incident & Problem Management: Own, track, and resolve production incidents within defined SLAs.



Coordinate with the development and infrastructure teams for complex bug fixes.

Required Qualifications & Skills
- Strong proficiency in Python (ability to read, debug, and write scripts) and standard Linux Shell Scripting (Bash).
- Solid command over Linux/Unix environments (command line navigation, file permissions, process management).
- Proficient in SQL (MySQL, PostgreSQL, or Oracle) with a solid understanding of relational databases, joins, indexes, and complex queries.
- Must be willing and able to work in a 24/7 rotational shift environment
- Excellent analytical problem-solving abilities, strong communication skills (both written and verbal), and the capacity to stay calm under pressure during critical outages.

Qualifications
- Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Data Science, or related field.
