Position Overview

The Bursar will oversee the day-to-day operations of our student financial services, tuition collection, and accounts receivable/payable systems.

This role ensures institutional compliance with financial regulations while acting as the primary point of contact for student account inquiries. The ideal candidate balances meticulous financial acumen with an empathetic, customer-oriented approach to student and parent relations.

Key ResponsibilitiesStudent Accounts & Tuition Management
- Manage billing schedules, tuition adjustments, and student refund distributions.
- Supervise daily cashiering functions, cash management, and bank deposit reconciliations.
- Resolve complex student account discrepancies with explicit, transparent communication.
- Administer payment plans, aging account collections, and coordinate with external collection agencies.

Preferred candidate profile

Financial Operations & Compliance
- Maintain precise records of all institutional income, student receivables, and third-party sponsorships.




- Ensure strict compliance with local, state, federal, and financial aid regulations.
- Coordinate directly with internal and external auditors for fiscal year-end closing audits.
- Update financial procedures, optimize cashiering portals, and manage student information software.

Admissions & Enrolment Support
- Guide prospective families through the school tour booking, application, and registration pipeline.
- Help parents fill out admission documents and collect required student records.
- Maintain and update prospective student tracking lists in the school portal.
- Front-Desk & Communication Hub
- Greet visitors, parents, and students warmly and direct them to the appropriate department.
- Manage incoming calls, emails, and website inquiries promptly and professionally.
- Provide accurate information regarding school programs, calendars, fees, and policies.
