Role Overview
We are seeking a Full Stack / Backend Developer (Node.js) to join our Bangalore team,
working in close collaboration with colleagues in the UK. This role will focus on
building secure, scalable backend services in Node.js, with opportunities to contribute to
frontend features (React) when required.
Because our solutions operate in a healthcare setting, robust engineering is critical. You will
be responsible for ensuring that our systems can securely handle sensitive patient data while
delivering rapid, reliable, and seamless digital experiences across mobile, web, and AI-driven




applications.
Key Responsibilities

Backend Development
Design, build, and maintain backend services and APIs using Node.js.

Implement secure data flows and integrations with patient portals and mobile
applications.

Optimize backend systems for scalability, performance, and reliability.
Full Stack Contribution

Collaborate with frontend developers (React, Flutter) to deliver end-to-end
solutions.

Contribute to frontend codebases when required (React, HTML5, JavaScript).
Support integration testing across backend and frontend components.
Security & Compliance

Implement strong authentication, authorization, and encryption standards.

Ensure systems comply with GDPR, NHS Digital, and healthcare data
protection standards.

Anticipate and mitigate security risks in backend architecture.
Collaboration & Agile Delivery

Work closely with Bangalore developers, QA engineers, and UK-based
leadership.
