The Director of Software Engineering will provide leadership in Software Engineering & development across multiple application and development teams. This role involves collaborating with key stakeholders to establish and uphold Software Engineering standards, managing multiple teams of engineering resources, overseeing training initiatives, and enforcing industry standards for Software development. This position will involve managing direct reports (managers and staff–level) and providing oversight to skip–level employees.

18+ years of experience:

• In Software Engineering, Program management

• In stakeholder management

• In software development

• In software architecture In Engineering standards, Processes and Frameworks

5+ years of experience:

• In a management position

• Robust managerial and team building skills

• Process oriented, methodological





• Strong communication skills for communicating with technology resources, product SMEs, business owners and vendor

Technical Skills

• Knowledge of best practices for Software development processes and methodologies

• Prior management experience required, experience with software applications and full project lifecycle required and program management

• Experience in leading software development projects and teams

• Functional knowledge of software architecture best practices and processes

• Knowledge of modern application development frameworks (
C#, .NET Core,
native mobile frameworks, Azure, AWS, GCP ,Java,
Python, GenAI,
DevOps)

• Experience with Lean Development tools and Agile methodologies a plus
