JOB SUMMARY/PURPOSE
Manager Taxation will be responsible for overseeing Taxation aspects of both Direct & Indirect Taxes for all Imerys India Entities including timely compliance and Internal Controls while assisting Sub-Cluster Manager in managing Accounts Payable of Ceramics Entity. The role requires good knowledge of Direct & Indirect Taxation and robust in Indian Accounting Standards, tax regulatory compliance, handling audits, and Involved in SAP Implementation

KEY TASKS AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Compliance & Filings: Ensure timely filing of direct and indirect taxes (e.g., GST, TDS, advance tax). Oversee the reconciliation of Input Tax Credit (ITC) and finalize annual returns
- Litigation Management:
In consultation with Tax consultants, Lead communications with tax authorities. Prepare and manage submissions, replies, and appeals regarding past or ongoing assessments.
- Tax Planning & Strategy: Identify and implement legal tax-saving opportunities to minimize company liabilities and optimize working capital
- Risk & Governance: Monitor changing tax legislation to mitigate financial risks and ensure adherence to transfer pricing and cross-border regulatory frameworks
- Reporting & Audits: Facilitate tax audits, prepare management information systems (MIS) reports, and handle data requests from internal and external stakeholders
- Process Improvement: Identifying opportunities for process enhancements and implementing Innovative Tax Solutions to streamline Operations and Drive Efficiency
- Accounts Payable Management: Manage end-to-end processing of vendor invoices, expense reports, payables ageing and
