Role
The District Coordinator will provide strategic and technical support to implement the Intensified Malaria Elimination Project across four districts in Mizoram, working closely with the M&E; Coordinator and government health teams to strengthen malaria surveillance and intervention.
Responsibilities
- Support ADRA's field office operations and maintain a positive, effective team setting
- Conduct periodic assessments of malaria intervention activities and identify implementation gaps
- Develop district-specific operational plans aligned with state and national malaria elimination strategies
- Coordinate training activities, supply chain management, and distribution of anti-malarial medicines with the District Vector Borne Disease Control Programme
- Guide behaviour change communication and community mobilization activities
- Set up and maintain monitoring and reporting systems, ensuring timely and accurate data tracking
- Build partnerships with local NGOs, community groups, and district administrative authorities
- Represent ADRA India at government and technical meetings at the district level
- Lead capacity-building workshops for field coordinators and data entry operators
- Organize regular training for community health volunteers and field staff on malaria elimination strategies
- Review and consolidate monthly and quarterly project reports for submis
