RESPONSIBILITY

Ensure legal & procedural compliance

Enforce statutory HSE laws, site rules and PentaSafe procedures, keeping every activity within the approved safety and legal framework.

Conduct daily safety inspections

Perform systematic daily inspections of the site,



plant and work areas, documenting findings and driving concerns through to closure.

Identify workplace hazards

Proactively spot physical, chemical, mechanical and environmental hazards, assessing their risk potential before any work begins.

Implement risk controls

Apply the hierarchy of controls to remove or reduce risks, confirming that mitigation measures are effective before work proceeds.

Conduct toolbox talks

Deliver pre-task toolbox talks that brief crews on job-specific hazards, controls and protected methods at the start of each shift.

Investigate incidents

Investigate incidents and near-misses promptly to establish root causes and recommend actions that prevent their recurrence.

Maintain safety records

Keep safety documentation, registers and statutory records accurate and current, ensuring full traceability for audits and inspections.
