We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Design Engineer to join our solar engineering team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing effective, cost-effective, and compliant solar photovoltaic (PV) systems for residential, commercial, and industrial projects. This role requires strong technical expertise, proficiency in solar design software, and the ability to collaborate with sales, project management, procurement, and installation teams to ensure successful project execution.
- Design rooftop and ground-mounted solar PV systems for commercial, industrial, and utility-scale projects.
- Prepare system layouts, single-line diagrams (SLDs), electrical drawings, and detailed engineering documentation.
- Conduct site assessments using available survey data and recommend optimal system configurations.
- Perform PV system sizing, energy yield analysis, shading analysis, and production simulations using industry-standard software.




- Design DC and AC electrical systems, cable routing, inverter sizing, and equipment selection.
- Prepare structural layouts and coordinate with structural engineers for module mounting systems.
- Ensure designs comply with applicable electrical codes, safety standards, and local regulations.
- Optimize system performance while minimizing project costs and installation complexity.
- Coordinate with procurement, project management, and installation teams to resolve design-related issues.
- Provide technical support during project execution, commissioning, and client discussions.
- Review and verify engineering drawings, BOQs, and technical submittals before project release.
- Support value engineering initiatives and continuously improve design processes and standards.
