Key Responsibilities:
- Lead, mentor, and manage a team of RoR engineers.
- Drive architecture, design, and development of scalable web applications.
- Oversee sprint planning, code reviews, and delivery timelines.
- Collaborate with Product, QA, and DevOps teams to ensure high-quality releases.
- Ensure engineering best practices, coding standards, and system reliability.
- Participate in hiring, performance management, and team development.
Required Skills:
- 7to 15 years of software development experience with
Ruby on Rails
.
- 4-5 years of experience managing engineering teams.
- Robust knowledge of RoR, REST APIs, SQL/NoSQL databases, cloud platforms (AWS/GCP/Azure), and CI/CD.
- Experience with Agile/Scrum methodologies.
- Excellent leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
