a) Independently handling Simulation (CAE) of Automobiles outer panels (Door, Fender, Roof/sun-roof, Side Body Outer), Class A- inner panels (Door Inners, Hood Inner) or High tensile parts
b) Co-ordinating with RD (or customer) for incorporation of all feedbacks
c) Able to prepare Die Planning sheet / Process Plan
2) Positive know how of press die design and panel transfer in cross bar and transfer presses.
3) Sketch checking and feedback
Responsibilities:
1. Capability to do CAE for BIW (Skin panels, inner panels high tensile parts)
2. Spring back analysis and its countermeasures
3. Checking manufacturing feasibility of sheet metal parts
4. Foresee the panel defects able to give suggestions in CAE stage
5. Leading new product development project.
6. Support die maker/stamper in resolving quality issues
Technical/ Functional:
1.
Knowledge of software - UG NX, AutoForm, Pamstamp, etc.
2. Understanding of Die Trials Panel Proving
3. Basic knowledge of Yield improvement techniques
4. Positive Knowledge of press die design
Behavioural:
1. Able to explain technical issues in simple language
2. Presentation skills
3. Co-ordination with different agencies like RD, die maker and press shop
4. Benchmark with competitor vehicles based on visual interpretation
Must Have:
1. Formability Simulation (Class A Parts)
2. Die Design Know How
3. Process Plan Know How
4. Sheet Metal Part Defect and Countermeasure
Nice to Have:
1. Able to Make 3D DL/FL (Die Layout / Feed Layout)
2. Ultra-High Tensile Part Development Know How
