Role Description
The Financial Accountant is a full-time role based in Bengaluru with a hybrid work arrangement, allowing some work from home. This role involves preparing and reviewing financial statements, maintaining accurate ledgers, and ensuring timely financial reporting in line with relevant standards and regulations. The Financial Accountant will manage daily accounting operations, reconcile accounts, support budgeting and forecasting activities, and assist in month-end and year-end closing processes on a AI platform designed internally. The role includes analysis of financial data to identify trends and variances, and provide explicit financial insights to support decision-making.
The individual will work indepemdently on different client assignments.
Qualifications
- Robust foundation in Finance with practical experience in preparing and interpreting Financial Statements for Asian countries.
- Proficiency with Accounting Software and tools commonly used for bookkeeping and financial management.
- Experience in Financial Reporting, including regulatory and management reports.
- Well-developed Analytical Skills for reviewing financial data, identifying discrepancies, and supporting business decisions.
- Bachelor’s degree or higher in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
- Knowledge of relevant accounting standards and compliance requirements across Asian countries.
- Attention to detail, accuracy in documentation, and strong organizational skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a hybrid environment, manage deadlines, and collaborate with cross-functional teams.
