Impact & Scope
- Operates within the Flexible Delivery Centre delivery model for India
- Responsible for FDC scope of assigned propulsion delivery projects (Waterjets, CPP and any other Propulsion product )
- Interfaces with local suppliers, pre‑qualified assembly workshops,
shipyards and internal global stakeholders
- High impact on delivery reliability, customer satisfaction, quality performance and Wärtsilä reputation in an emerging shipbuilding market
- Scope is operational / tactical, with responsibility for execution excellence within approved project frameworks and business directives.
Delivery & Project Management:
- Coordinate FDC end‑to‑end delivery execution for assigned propulsion projects in India
- Ensure alignment between supply chain, assembly activities and delivery schedules
- Act as main local interface towards the shipyard during assembly and delivery phases
- Track progress, risks and deviations and report status to GM Versatile DC
Supply Chain & Assembly Coordination:
- Coordinate local suppliers and logistics to ensure timely availability of components
- Align assembly planning with pre‑qualified workshops and internal stakeholders
- Ensure assembly
