About the Role:
We are looking for a highly creative and strategic Content Head to lead the content vision and execution for our fast-growing Indian micro drama platform. The ideal candidate should have strong expertise in storytelling, audience psychology, digital entertainment trends, and content production, with the ability to build engaging, binge-worthy short-format drama content for Indian audiences.
This role requires someone who can conceptualize, develop, and scale high-retention micro drama series while managing writers, creators, production teams, and content strategy end-to-end.
Key Responsibilities:
•Define and execute the overall content strategy for the platform
•Identify trending genres, audience preferences, and storytelling formats in the micro drama ecosystem
•Develop high-engagement content concepts tailored for short attention span audiences
•Build a solid pipeline of original micro drama series across romance, thriller, family drama, suspense, comedy, and youth-centric genres
Creative Leadership
•Lead writers,
creative producers, script teams, and content creators
•Supervise story ideation, screenplay development, dialogues, episode structuring, and cliffhanger-driven storytelling
• Ensure content quality, emotional engagement, and platform consistency
• Guide the creative team on pacing, hooks, retention moments, and binge-worthy
storytelling techniques
• Coordinate with production, casting, editing, and post-production teams
• Ensure timely delivery of content calendars and shooting schedules
• Optimize content production efficiency while maintaining quality standards
• Oversee content budgets and resource planning
Audience & Platform Growth
• Analyze viewer behavior, watch-time trends, engagement metrics, and retention
data
• Collaborate with marketing and growth teams to create viral and performance driven
content strategies
• Continuously experiment with formats, storytelling
