The Area Head – Sales is responsible for driving business growth, strengthening distribution capabilities, and ensuring operational excellence across assigned branches within the Agency Business Partner channel. This leadership role involves managing multiple branches through Branch Heads, enhancing productivity, and ensuring alignment with organizational sales and compliance objectives
What does the job entail?

Key Responsibilities

1. Business Delivery & Revenue Growth

Drive achievement of regional sales targets (APE, premium, policies) across assigned branches.

Develop and execute regional sales strategies aligned with organizational goals.

Monitor performance metrics and implement corrective actions to bridge gaps.

Ensure consistent growth in market share and distribution expansion.

2. Team Leadership & Capability Building

Lead, mentor, and manage Branch Heads to enhance overall team productivity.

Drive a high-performance culture through regular reviews, coaching, and feedback.





Identify training needs and coordinate capability-building initiatives.

Ensure solid succession planning and talent pipeline within the region.

3. Stakeholder Management

Collaborate with internal stakeholders such as HR,l>

Ensure strict adherence to regulatory guidelines and company policies.

Minimize operational and sales-related risks by enforcing compliance discipline.

Monitor branch-level audit findings and ensure timely closure of observations.

7. Operational Excellence

Ensure smooth functioning of branch operations in coordination with support functions.

Drive process improvements and efficiency initiatives across the region.

Ensure timely resolution of customer and partner queries
Work Experience

Qualifications & Experience

Graduate / Postgraduate (MBA preferred)

5-15 years of experience in life insurance sales, with at least 5–10 years in a leadership role

Proven track record in managing multi-branc
