Test Lead- Databricks Pan India · Full Time · Remote

About the Role We are looking for an experienced Testing Lead to drive quality assurance across the GAFS platform and support its strategic migration to the Allianz Data Platform (ADP) on Azure Databricks. The role is central, coordinating testing activities across multiple delivery squads. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in software testing and experience with test automation frameworks. The role requires a proven ownership mindset and the ability to deliver in an agile, multi-team environment.

Key Responsibilities
- Own and lead the end-to-end testing strategy covering functional, regression, automation, and data/BI layers




- Coordinate and mentor testers embedded in delivery squads across Operating Entities
- Design and maintain automated test suites integrated into CI/CD pipelines
- Lead data quality and BI testing for Databricks/Delta Lake data products across the five GAFS data domains
- Track quality metrics, coverage KPIs, and defect trends; report to the Tribe Lead and key stakeholders
- Ensure compliance with quality gates and applicable regulatory requirements
- Support the Oracle-to-ADP migration with test plans, data reconciliation checks, and OE acceptance criteria
- Drive the improvement of the current testing framework

Requirements
- Have 5–8 years of experience in software testing, with at least 2 years in a lead or ownership role
- Possess hands-on experience with Selenium, Pytest, or equivalent test automation frameworks
- Have a solid background in data pipeline and BI validation; Databricks or Azure Data Platform experience is a solid plus
