Job Description
- Lead and execute R&D; projects aligned with business objectives, customer requirements, and strategic growth initiatives.
- Drive innovation by generating new ideas and managing multiple strategic and business-driven development projects.
- Conduct literature reviews, patent searches, feasibility studies, and technology assessments to develop commercially viable synthetic routes.
- Design, optimize, and scale chemical processes to improve product quality, yield, safety, and cost competitiveness.
- Plan, prioritize, and allocate resources to ensure efficient execution of R&D; activities and project milestones.
- Coordinate procurement of raw materials, chemicals,



catalysts, analytical standards, and laboratory consumables.
- Provide technical support, troubleshooting, and rapid development solutions to business and manufacturing teams.
- Lead root cause analysis and implement corrective actions to resolve process and technical challenges.

The Successful Applicant
A Successful R&D; Head Should Have
- Strong knowledge of organic synthesis, reaction mechanisms, process chemistry, and scale-up principles.
- Hands-on experience with analytical characterization techniques and interpretation of analytical data.
- Solid understanding of process optimization, cost reduction, and manufacturing support.
- Familiarity with intellectual property, patent analysis, and technology evaluation.
- Excellent problem-solving, troubleshooting, and decision-making capabilities.
