Role Description
The Junior Safety Officer is a full-time in office role based in Mumbai. This role involves supporting senior safety professionals in monitoring workplace conditions, conducting routine safety inspections, and assisting in the implementation of safety policies and procedures. The Junior Safety Officer helps collect and document safety data, participates in risk assessments, and contributes to accident and incident investigations under guidance. The role includes coordinating safety training sessions, updating safety records and reports, and assisting with compliance checks related to health, safety, and security standards. The Junior Safety Officer collaborates with cross-functional teams to promote a proactive safety culture, communicate safety observations, and support corrective and preventive actions.

Qualifications
- Candidates should possess foundational knowledge in Health & Safety and Occupational Health principles.
- Candidates should possess skills in Accident Investigation and incident reporting,



including documentation and root cause analysis.
- Candidates should possess understanding of Security practices as they relate to workplace safety and regulatory compliance.
- Candidates should possess the ability to assist in Safety Training activities, such as preparing materials and supporting awareness sessions.
- Relevant diploma or degree in safety, environmental science, engineering, or a related field is preferred.
- Strong attention to detail, observational skills, and the ability to follow established procedures and guidelines.
- Effective written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to interact professionally with all levels of staff.
- Basic proficiency in MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) for reporting, documentation, and presentation support.
- Willingness to learn, adapt to field conditions, and adhere to ethical, non-discriminatory, and inclusive workplace practices.
