Role Overview

We are looking for a proactive, detail-oriented, and execution-focused Procurement Engineer Electronics to join our Supply Chain team. This role is responsible for sourcing and procuring electronic components required for the manufacturing of EV chargers, power electronic products, and embedded electronic systems.

The ideal candidate should have strong knowledge of electronic components, supplier networks, and procurement processes. They should take complete ownership of material procurement, proactively follow up with suppliers, resolve supply challenges, and collaborate closely with Engineering, Production, Quality, Stores, and Finance to ensure uninterrupted material availability in a rapid-paced manufacturing environment.

Key Responsibilities
- Source and procure electronic components including PCBs, PCBAs, semiconductors, ICs, microcontrollers, MOSFETs, IGBTs, transformers, inductors, capacitors, resistors, connectors, relays, sensors, displays, cables, wire harnesses, batteries, cooling components, and other electronic/electrical materials.
- Float RFQs,



evaluate technical and commercial quotations, negotiate pricing, lead times, payment terms, and commercial agreements.
- Raise Purchase Orders and ensure timely follow-up with suppliers for on-time deliveries.
- Coordinate with Hardware, Embedded, R&D;, and Engineering teams for prototype development, engineering changes, and new product introductions (NPI).
- Identify alternate sources for critical and long lead-time electronic components to mitigate supply chain risks.
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with existing suppliers while identifying, evaluating, and onboarding new vendors.
- Work closely with Production, Planning, and Stores teams to ensure timely availability of electronic materials and prevent production delays.
- Track open purchase orders and proactively resolve material shortages, delayed deliveries, allocation issues, and supplier constraints.
