The Role:

We need a Controller to get our financial operations organized and investor-ready ahead of fundraising. This is a fixed-scope, part time contract engagement — not a full-time role at this stage.

What You’ll Deliver:

• Organize and clean up existing financial records and transaction history

• Set up proper bookkeeping structure (QuickBooks Online)

• Prepare basic financial statements and reporting suitable for investor review





• Support financial documentation needed for due diligence

• Documented processes for financial systems and workflows set up during this engagement (e.g., transaction categorization, monthly close checklist, chart of accounts structure) — to support continuity for future hires or your own conversion to the role

Time Commitment & Terms:

• Approximately 4-6 hours per week

• 6-8 week fixed-scope engagement

• Total contract fee: $1,000 USD

• Weekly touchpoint call/message required

• Weekly written progress report required

What Happens Next:

Strong possibility of conversion to an ongoing paid role at increased compensation upon the Company’s successful close of its pre-seed funding round.

Requirements:

• Demonstrated bookkeeping/accounting experience

• QuickBooks Online proficiency

• Expert knowledge of US GAAP (Generally Accepted Accounting Principles) — the actual accounting
