Role Description
The HIPAA Consultant for Pre-Read Teleradiology at Univabs Solutions radiology

The consultant will oversee compliance with HIPAA and relevant local privacy regulations in all pre-read teleradiology workflows, ensuring secure handling, transmission, and storage of patient data. Daily responsibilities include reviewing and updating policies, conducting risk assessments, monitoring data protection practices, and advising clinical and operational teams on privacy requirements. The role involves training staff on HIPAA standards, supporting incident response and documentation, collaborating with radiologists and technical teams to ensure compliant processes, and preparing reports for internal audits and external stakeholders. The consultant will work closely with management to continuously improve compliance frameworks and safeguard patient confidentiality within the tele-radiology services.

Qualifications
- Candidates should possess solid Hippa compliance knowledge where the PACS is the clients and the repirts are pre reads
