Understand market / customer requirements and identify new product features / improvement opportunities. Analyse competitive landscape, identify gaps in the current solutions and bring in features to build and sustain competitive edge.
Product Road Map and Prioritization – Build, maintain and communicate product roadmap and prioritize backlogs for development. Understand trade-offs based on priority and timelines. Maintain strict quality on product documentation.
Define success criteria for a product feature in alignment with all stakeholders and track / report the metric across clients on rollout.
Measure adoption of the application and the product features.
Be the single point of contact for all functional queries for the product feature or a product domain.
Interact with stakeholders:
o Clients – to understand their business needs and socialize a new feature or enhancements to existing features.
o Sales/Pre-Sales – to show case / case studies effectiveness of a feature rollout.
o Engineering – to build precise requirement documents which cover all the functional and design features with reasonings. Involve in sprint planning.
o QA – help build QA Test scenarios and cases and make sure of coverage.
o UI/UX – bring in UI standardization and best practices.
Solutioning & Feature Design:
o Platform Module Ownership & Design – Own the end-to-end solution design for core platform modules. Define module-level architecture, data flows, and integration touchpoints in collaboration with engineering.
o Functional Specification & PRD Authoring – Write detailed Product Requirement Documents (PRDs) and Functional Specifications covering business rules, workflow logic, edge cases, role-based access, and configurability requirements. Ensure documentation is exact enough to guide engineering, QA, and implementation teams independently.
o Analytics & Reporting Module Design – Define requirement
